Embark on a fascinating full-day journey from Athens that blends history, mythology, and breathtaking scenery.

Travel in comfort along the stunning coastal road, stop for photos at the dramatic Corinth Canal, and explore the romantic charm of Nafplio, where every alley reveals traces of Greece’s Venetian past.

At Mycenae, you’ll step into the world of heroes and gods as your expert guide shares the myths and mysteries behind the Lion’s Gate, the Treasury of Atreus, and the kingdom of Agamemnon. We keep our groups small to ensure a more personalized and immersive experience, with plenty of time for photos, questions, and spontaneous moments of discovery.

Whether you’re a history lover, a culture seeker, or simply someone who wants to experience the essence of Greece beyond Athens, this tour offers an unforgettable blend of ancient wonders, coastal beauty, and warm Greek hospitality—the perfect way to experience the country’s timeless soul.

We’ll depart from Athens and follow the scenic coastal road to our first stop — the Corinth Canal. This impressive 19th-century engineering marvel connects the Ionian Sea with the Aegean Sea. (Short stop)

Our next destination is the charming seaside town of Nafplio — also known by its historic name, Napoli di Romania — considered one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Greece.
Once the first capital of the modern Greek state, Nafplio is filled with neoclassical buildings, narrow cobblestone alleys, and elegant Venetian influences. As we stroll through its picturesque streets, we’ll take in the grandeur of the Palamidi Fortress perched high above the town, the iconic Bourtzi Castle rising from the middle of the harbor, and the beautiful Cathedral of Saint George, an important landmark of the old town.
After our guided walk, you’ll have some free time to explore at your own pace — perhaps to enjoy a coffee by the sea, browse the local boutiques, or simply soak in the relaxed atmosphere of this captivating town.

Next, we continue our journey to the ancient citadel of Mycenae, the heart of one of the earliest and most legendary civilizations in the world.
Revered for its connection to the epic tales of the Trojan War, Mycenae is said to be the kingdom of the mighty King Agamemnon — the leader of the Greek forces who sailed to Troy to reclaim the beautiful Helen.
As we explore this remarkable archaeological site, we’ll pass through the iconic Lion’s Gate, the imposing entrance to the ancient city, and marvel at the massive Cyclopean Walls, whose enormous stones have stood for millennia.
We’ll also visit the Treasury of Atreus (also known as the Tomb of Agamemnon), an extraordinary beehive-shaped tomb built for a Mycenaean king.

After our guided visit, we’ll take a relaxing lunch break in Mycenae, giving you a chance to enjoy a meal surrounded by the echoes of ancient history.

In the afternoon, we return back to Athens full of colorful images and unique smells.

Ya he pedido reembolso.

The main problem with this tour was that the guide spoke very poor English. She gave a commentary in both French and English but was very difficult to understand which was disappointing as we were interested to hear about the history etc. Also the departure from the Amalia hotel was very disorganised and slow. However the sites themselves and the journey through the mountains was lovely. Like many people, we opted not to take the lunch option but to spend time in Napflio instead and that was a good choice.
