I recently enjoyed an incredible food tour in downtown Athens, exploring the old city. We sampled a variety of traditional dishes while taking in the historical sites, making for a perfect blend of culture and cuisine. Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also a lot of fun, enhancing the overall experience. I loved it so much that I immediately booked a second tour for the wine tasting and nightlife. Our tour guide “Jenny” was amazing! She was knowledgable and fun. We enjoyed excellent food and drink and the walk around all the cool places in Athens. The wine pairing at the end was perfect, with good Greek wine, paired with excellent Greek food. We will do this tour again next time in Athens.
The tour was so awesome! We did this at the beginning of our stay in Athens. We got to know pubs that we would never have found. The rooftop bar was terrific. Thanks to our guide Jenny! She was just terrific and so full of life. It was a special evening. We learned so much about Athens, but also about life in Greece. An absolute must during a visit to Athens!
Really enjoyed this tour, not only for the opportunity to taste some drinks we probably would not have experienced ordinarily but also for the walk around, and through, some really interesting areas of this beautiful city. Introduction to a few of the hidden gems that will definitely repay a visit. Jenny was a great host and an excellent guide – knowledgeable, lively, enthusiastic and always ready and willing to answer whatever questions we had. Wish we had done this on our first night in Athens, rather than the last!
