In this morning half day tour to the Meteora monasteries, we will have a unique opportunity to see all 6 monasteries that are a part of this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We also get to visit inside the 3 main monasteries, and admire the beuaty of the nature and the cultural heritage of the area. While listening the monks and the monasteries history through our local guide, we place ourselves back to the dark ages to find out why the monks decided to build the monasteries there and which monastery was the first to be established.
We see everything, learn everything and discover the astonishing Meteora story through the eyes and the narrative tales of the locals.

The monasteries have a strict dress code men must wear trousers and long sleeves, women must wear a long skirt. If you do turn up in shorts, trousers and skirts will be provided.

You are encouraged to bring a camera. There are great photo opportunities.
Weather will not affect the operation of the tours. However if canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
