Take our Santorini Volcano Sunset Cruise and ail across Santorini’s beautiful ‘caldera’ (flooded crater) and visit the islands of Nea Kameni and Thirasia on this 6-hour tour. Board a sightseeing boat from the old port, and admire Santorini’s cliffs and as you cruise to Nea Kameni. Enjoy free time to walk around its volcanic crater & swim in the warm springs. Have dinner on board and enjoy the sunset on board.

The Santorini Volcano Sunset cruise starts from the picturesque old port of Santorini or from Athinios port if you book the tour with transfers.

Our first destination will be the famous volcano of Santorini! After 20 minutes sailing, we will reach Nea Kameni’s jetty. Should you are interested to be guided at the volcano, you should pay 5 euro/ per person as an entrance fee.

Then, you will walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide and he is going to explain you everything about the history and the geology of the volcano. You will stay at the volcanic island for 1.5hr and in the end you will embark again to our boat for the next stop.

Next stop will be the island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. A place that is really popular for its thermal waters. We will stop there for 30min at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos’ beach.

The waters are mixed with mud that they are full of sulfur, iron and other metals coming from the volcano and they are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis and other physical pains.

Important Note : In order to reach Agios Nicholaos’ beach is essential to swim extremely well.

Sailing above the underwater craters from Palia Kameni to Thirasia Island, the boat will anchor close to the island in order to enjoy your dinner or snack. Our experienced staff will prepare everything for you so as to relax and enjoy our Greek tasteful buffet while capturing amazing photos of the Aegean sea.

As our Santorini sunset cruise comes close to the final location is sunset time. Our boat sets sails and the sun dives to the sea in the northernmost part of the island. Our boat will stop very close to Oia village where you will have the chance to watch the warm light of the setting sun under the violet sky before the night falls. This is the most unforgettable experience as the Caldera and the village of Oia will turn into gold colour. Your trip  in this sanctuary of romance is going to be in your memories and your hearts forever!

After departing from your last destination, the Santorini Volcano Sunset cruise will finish at the old port of Fira. After your disembarkation, you should choose one of the available ways to go back to Fira town.  (or for those that have selected transfers, back to their hotel.)

Lovely trip. Pick up ..driver did not have us on list, didn’t tell us what was going on. let us on eventually but still no communication.
Trip…..lovely boat, perfect communication and hard work from crew…could not fault them. Food delicious! And lots of it.
Volcano…..only part is safely paved and we could only make it to first point but had lovely views. No good if have physical difficulties.
Sulphur pools…. disappointing, and didn’t bother going in. Boat can’t get close due to depth….just a brown section of water.
Sunset….amazing and beautiful!
Pick up…. disorganised…. couldn’t find out driver or mini bus, very grumpy and rude drive, no communication as to when it was our drop off…just stopped bus and waited… erratic driving, swerving into middle of road .

Amazing views, great guide! Really enjoyed this tour by Santorini View aboard the Aphrodite. Interesting stops at the volcano with an optional tour to the top (moderate climb), hot springs where you can swim, decent dinner and beautiful sunset off the coast of Oia. Can’t say enough about the amazing views at every turn. Loved the guide, Ulysses, who was very knowledgeable and made the cruise fun and special.

The whole trip was lovely, the food was good (especially the interesting dessert which I hadn’t seen before) and the views were amazing. My favourite part was probably the mud in the hot springs. It will definitely ruin your swimsuit, so follow their advice and wear an old one, but my skin was so soft after! It was like a mini free spa trip. Volcano tour was also very informative and engaging.

Tour reserved on Viator, for 2 adults and a total of 198€. At the old port, the indication sent by Viator was to go the shop to obtain the tickets. There, reservation was not the Same as the one booked, it started one hour later, and costs 150€. So I feel that I overpaid the tour by 30%, which is a lot.
Second point, the boat was crowded and it was not possible to get a table to eat (we did it with a plate on our knees). Note that when you get onboard at the old harbour, all tables are taken by rhe people who boarded at the previous stop.
Finally, the excursion in itself is good, the staff onboard was great, but the price asked by Viator is too high.

Volcano tour made this worth the trip. Food was good but nickeled and dimed on the boat. Even water cost extra. There were no refreshments provided prior to dinner time which was 6 hours after we had been picked up for the tour. So, if you go on this excursion, be sure to pack water and some snacks.
