Covid measures in Greece to protect public health from the risk of further spread coronavirus COVID-19

The K.Y.A. no. D1α / Γ.Π.οικ. 49655/ 31.08.2022(Government Gazette B 4604) contains the measures of protection of public health from the risk of further spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 in the whole Territory, for the period until Thursday 09 September 2022 at 06:00.

Private companies now operate fully, in compliance with the measures of Table A of the K.Y.A., which include only the obligation to install / use an alcoholic solution with a content of more than seventy percent (70%) for hand antiseptic and ventilation of the premises in accordance with the relevant rules.

The obligation to protect workers belonging to high-risk groups, by providing work in a place out of contact with the public, where possible, continues, while all private sector workers who are not fully vaccinated or ill and provide physical work inside or outside are required to perform a diagnostic test once (1) a week, by the method of molecular control (PCR) or by using the rapid detection of coronavirus antigen COVID-19 (rapid test) in private diagnostic laboratories or in private clinics or in pharmacies or to a private doctor, at their own expense.

In terms of transport, the use of a high respiratory protection mask (FFP2 or N95) or alternatively a double mask (surgical and fabric) is now mandatory only a) in public transport, such as OASA SA and OASTH SA buses, municipal buses, public transport fixed track of responsibility STASY SA, railway when moving in urban area, lifts (cable car) and b) in public passenger vehicles of any category (such as taxis, special hire taxis)
